Kazispace: A platform Jobseekers and Employers can finally trust

Youth unemployment is a challenge affecting Rwanda, Africa, and the whole world in general. That is why Kazispace, in partnership with the non-profit organization Melody of New Hope (MNH Ministry), is committed to finding a solution to this problem.

As a first step, a platform was created to showcase the skills of anyone seeking employment and to help connect service providers with those in need of their services. This platform brings together people from different categories; those looking for jobs and those offering various services. for example, short-term workers, commonly known as freelancers or informal workers, as well as another category for professionals (fonctionaires) who are looking for long-term employment, what many call a “full-time job.”

That’s not all on the other hand, Kazispace also caters to organizations and companies seeking professional employees. through this platform, a company can conduct its entire hiring process easily and quickly, gaining the staff they need in a short time..

When we spoke with Naomi Uwurukundo, head of marketing, she explained that this project was designed to help people showcase and present their skills through the Kazispace platform, making it easier for job seekers to find opportunities and reducing the long and time-consuming process companies often go through when looking for competent staff.

Naomi Uwurukundo, Marketing Manager, welcomes everyone seeking long-term employment or freelance opportunities to join Kazispace.

Naomi said: “for someone looking for long-term employment, once they upload their profile on kazispace.com, our technology automatically sends them an SMS notification whenever a company posts a job that matches at least 70% of their skills profile and abilities. this helps the job seeker log into their account, click the ‘Apply’ button just once, and our system instantly sends their CV and profile to the hiring company that posted the job.”

As for someone seeking short-term work, they simply need to fill in their details, list the services they offer, where they are based, and the price of their services. then, when a client comes to Kazispace.com, they can book them directly. the worker (informal or gig worker) immediately receives a notification that they have been booked and can begin communicating with the client right away.

Naomi further explained that different institution, companies or individuals wishing to post job listings, the service is free. the only requirement is to open an employer account to be able to receive applications and carry out the hiring process entirely on the platform until they find the right employee. On the other side, applicants are kept updated via SMS and email about every stage of their application until they either hired or notified that they were unsuccessful.

Kazispace’s vision will help reduce unemployment and provide young people with a platform to showcase their services, while also significantly cutting the time and cost hiring companies spend on recruitment. this is made possible by the platform’s advanced technology, including the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help users reach their goals faster.

Naomi Uwurukundo warmly welcomed everyone individuals eager to showcase their skills as well as institutions, both public and private to step into this digital space for employment and service delivery.

In an exclusive interview with The Bridge Magazine, Dieudonne Tumukunde Bizagwira, founder of Kazispace, shared the platform’s mission to transform how job opportunities are accessed and how companies recruit talent.

Tumukunde highlighted that the primary goal of Kazispace is to introduce a transparent, efficient, and modern approach to hiring, moving away from outdated methods that have long hindered both job seekers and employers.

“In the past, people would walk around with paper envelopes, looking for jobs without even knowing where the companies were located. Over time, we’ve progressed to sending CVs and application letters via email. But even now, job seekers often send applications without ever knowing the outcome,” Tumukunde explained.

On the employer’s side, he noted, the process remains time-consuming and inefficient. Sorting through countless email applications is a burden, and companies still struggle to find the right candidates quickly.

“Kazispace is designed to solve both of these problems. It offers a platform where youth can showcase their skills while enabling companies to streamline their hiring process all powered by the latest Artificial Intelligence technology,” he said.

According to Tumukunde, Kazispace will significantly reduce youth unemployment by bridging the gap between employers and job seekers. The AI-driven system is not only efficient but also provides feedback mechanisms to help applicants understand what they need to improve for future opportunities.

He further extended an open invitation to individuals and institutions:

“Anyone who wants to showcase their skills, and any public or private institution struggling with the recruitment process, is welcome to join Kazispace. Registration is completely free all we ask is that you fill in the necessary information,” he said.
